“ Boma- Flavors of Africa is hands down our new favorite breakfast buffet in the Disney World resort bubble. The space is beautifully decorated & super clean. They do offer gluten free options, & are very accommodating to any allergies. Reservations are required, the price is high but well worth the splurge! Highly recommend don't miss out on your next WDW vacation. ”
“ I have always wanted to try Boma, after hearing about it for ages. We had dinner here on our first vacation night of the trip. It's $58 per person for a buffet, and there are plenty of options. Whether you're an adventurous eater or someone who likes chicken tenders, they have options for you. Some items they had that we tried: - Tamarind BBQ Pork Ribs - African Spiced Beef Striploin - Oxtail Stew - Banana Leaf Wrapped Salmon - Sweet Corn Pudding I think my favorite was the oxtail stew, layered on top of a bed of coconut rice. I know you're not supposed to eat rice at a buffet, but this was so, so good. The banana leaf wrapped salmon was also stellar - super flavorful and tender. Make sure you leave room for dessert, because the bread pudding is fantastic. ”
“ Terrific buffet style dinning and reasonably priced. Excellent service Family style seating for large groups and cozy atmosphere for two. Highly recommend Boma-Flavors of Africa. One of Disney's best at the Animal Kingdom. ”
“ Unlimited Zebra Domes. That's all I need to say. Boma's dinner buffet is good, but breakfast is better. While I enjoyed the meal, nothing really blew me away. That said, the kokonut rice and ribs were definite highlights. Here's what you'll find on the buffet: Oak-Roasted Meats - Well-seasoned and tender. Coastal Seafood - Fresh and flavorful. Soups - A variety of unique options. African Vegetarian Specialties - Great for plant-based eaters. Unlimited Zebra Domes - A must for dessert lovers. Fresh Fruit & Breads - Always nice to have. Kid-Friendly Options - Plenty of choices for picky eaters. Our empty plates were gathered quickly and it was very rarely a moment when we had to ask for refills which I always appreciate. Not to mention I just love the vibe and decor of this buffet. Overall, if you're deciding between breakfast and dinner, I'd go with breakfast every time. Dinner is good, but the morning spread is where Boma really shines! ”
“ Breakfast buffet was 10/10! I was very nervous to eat here as it's not your traditional buffet, but WOW - I will be adding this into the rotation of breakfast stops for our next Disney vacay. The coffee and juice I drank was included in the price per person, but my husband's Bloody Mary we had to pay extra for. Our waiter was so kind and kept checking up on us and even gave us coffee to-go in cups so we could take to enjoy with us! If you're intimidated by the menu items, push yourself and try!! You'll be amazed how much you enjoy. ”
“ Great Guest Service from not just our server, but every cast member you walked by. They were very welcoming, friendly and informative. First time here and it's an all you can eat buffet style. Make sure to try some new things as this is about... the Flavors of Africa! Everything I tried was delectable and I went back for seconds absolutely -- leaving with what they call the "Boma Coma". The Dhyana Ranch salad dressing was my favorite with the salad. All dinner choices were superb. The only thing lacking, in my opinion, was the dessert options. I guess I expected more unique and variety of items. There were about 4-5 things to choose from but I stuck with a chocolate chip cookie (which was soft and yummy). Located inside Animal Kingdom Lodge. It was a nice little environment. We all definitely enjoyed ourselves - group of 9! ”
“ We had a wonderful dinner and sampled each item on the buffet! You know the food is fantastic when the green beans are delish! I know sometimes individuals look the other way when it comes to buffets, but our approach was to try a little bit of everything and then go back for things that we really liked. I really can't think of a single item that did not taste great! When you experience the lodge as you enter to head down to Boma, take your time and take it all in. Unbelievable architecture and attention to detail. Arrive a little early and stop at the bar hovering above the restaurant for a nice cocktail. ”
“ If you're looking for a breakfast buffet at Disney, this is the place to go. First of all the Animal Kingdom Lodge is beautiful and the restaurant has such a cool atmosphere. They have all your standard breakfast foods, including Mickey waffles, but a couple things really stand out. I could have eaten the coconut steel cut oatmeal all day, and I could have eaten a pound of the seasonal bread pudding (it was butterscotch). Plus they serve their famous POG juice at the table and it's so refreshing. The staff is fantastic like most high end Disney resorts, but then everyone in a while they break out into a full on song with drums and dancing. It was so much fun. We went there on Christmas Eve for breakfast and it was busy but we were there about 15 minutes before our reservation and they got us right in. Another place we'll be coming back to. ”
“ UGH I dream of this amazing African inspired buffet! I should have probably taken pictures of the actual food and not just dessert, but you need to save room for that too! Boma is known for their famous zebra dome dessert, a mousse cased in a white chocolate with chocolate "zebra" stripes. We stayed at AKL and loved being able to try all the amazing cuisine offered. Of course, this is Disney so the service is nothing short of exceptional. We loved it so much we came back a second time. I'd advise you to definitely come hungry! I'm vegetarian but no one else in my family is, yet there is still something for everyone. Even if dining with kids, they have a more kids focused area as well - think chicken nuggets and the sort. Perfect for families, expect some noise. And have fun - don't be afraid to try something new here, and FOR SURE get the POG (pineapple orange guava) juice too. I dream of that, too. Honestly if you're at Disney, don't skip out on the offerings at the AKL. You won't be disappointed. ”
“ One of the best hotel breakfasts I've ever had. Boma is worth having and eating your fill especially when you're about to run off and walk for the rest of the day in Disney. Food? Spot on. Service? Spot on. Overall just great. They are mindful of allergies (of course all restaurants should, but they really are mindful here). Just can't go wrong here. Taste: 5/5 Service: 5/5 Ambiance: 4.5/5 Value for money: 4.5/5 ”
